The Israeli standard is based on the guidelines document聽Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0聽of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) with national additions and changes.

Compliance with Standards
- All pages on this site are written in valid HTML5 code. Writing in valid code ensures proper functioning of assistive technologies used by people with disabilities (such as screen readers for the blind).
- All interactive elements have been adapted to the聽Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARIA) 1.1standard.
- The site is designed with contrasting colors allowing optimal use for the visually impaired and color-blind. (For those interested: a tool for checking contrast聽webaim contrast checker)
- The content on the site is semantic. It contains Landmarks such as: header, main, aside, footer, nav, contains headings, data tables, lists, paragraphs, standard links, form controls, and image descriptions if they are meaningful.
- The forms on the site are accessible to screen readers and keyboard users.
- All icons have a textual alternative.
Display
- You can change the size of the texts on the site by using the keyboard CTRL + or CMD + on Mac computers or by using the browser menu.
- Increasing the text by 200% (and even more) will display the site flawlessly.
- The site is responsive and adapted for viewing on mobile devices (starting from a screen width of 320 pixels)
- The site will work excellently in all leading browsers, such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Opera, both on desktop and mobile.
- The fonts on the site are sans-serif - meaning they do not contain edges that interfere with the reading flow.
- If you want to make other changes to the text sizes and colors on the site, you can do so using the browser or extensions in the various extension stores of the browsers.
How to Operate the Site Using a Keyboard
- At the top of the page, there is a hidden link that skips the navigation menu and immediately transfers focus to the main content.
- Repeatedly pressing the Tab key will move you between the various links on the page. Pressing Enter will activate the link. Note that pressing Tab will take you to the next link and pressing Shift + Tab will take you back to the previous link.
